Author Cindy Sardo is a teacher at heart especially when it comes to teaching children to cook and eat healthy. Her inspirations to write these children's cookbooks are many, but her finicky eater, Sarah, has been the greatest. Cindy earned both a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and a Master of Instruction degree from the University of Delaware. Before becoming a mommy, Cindy was a fourth grade classroom teacher for ten years. These experiences made for an excellent recipe to begin writing the Cooking's Cool collection during the summer of 2007. When she is not writing recipes or cooking creative meals for her family, she can be found around town with her three little ladies - Emily, Julia and Sarah.
